At Bayside Personnel, we believe it is our responsibility to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of our employees, their families, the local community and society as a whole. We continually review our business practices and develop policies and procedures in line with this endeavour. Our employees play an active role in identifying ways in which we can partner with our community, which includes our clients, candidates and employees. Bayside Personnel is part of the Bayside Group, whose key initiatives include:
Environmental ManagementWe support initiatives to reduce our impact on the environment. Our Environmental Program has been named ‘SAVE’ – Support Awareness, Value the Environment. The Bayside Group’s Environmental Management Committee looks at minimising our use of natural resources through our purchasing policies, recycling, reducing energy consumption and other initiatives. All employees are encouraged to participate in this program and provide ideas for further improvements. Partnering with our ClientsWe work with clients that align with our values, and are therefore able to support them in their internal charitable initiatives, whether through donations, volunteer support or communicating fundraising initiatives to our extensive contract/temporary workforce. Bayside Group also services a number of not-for-profit customers, particularly in the areas of research, providing monetary and/or discount service support to these institutions. Indigenous ProgramThe Bayside Group Indigenous Scholarship aims to identify and assist a talented individual from an under-represented background each year. Through our funding, we will support a promising young student undertaking higher educational studies in the fields of engineering, science, health or business at RMIT. We will also provide students with internal and external work placement opportunities. Student Advice & ScholarshipsOur recruitment stream works with a number of universities to help final year students with resume and interview tips, advice on job applications and answer student questions about their career paths. In recent years, we have also provided scholarships within applied scientific disciplines to encourage young scientists to continue within the profession. Murdoch Children's Research InstituteWe are proud supporters of our national charity, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. We support charity and community events such as a Pink Ribbon Day, Genes for Jeans day and other events throughout the year. Our employees identify the charities that we support, and get involved through events and volunteering. |
